We can provide you with any cut to any gem, whether you have a piece of rough you need cut, or just looking for a finished gem stone, let us provide you the best available faceting.

At CDGems We:

• Use at least 20X magnification to cut facets ensuring meet points (the places where facets come together) are as exact as possible.
• Polish with 100,000 grit diamond powder.  Most production cutting houses use 14,000 grit polish as a final polish, leaving what looks like the surface of the ocean when viewed under a loupe.  With 100,000 grit polish, the surface is smooth even under 20X magnification.
• We do not use the mylar polishing sheets since they round off the edges of the facets, all our facets are sharp to the edge and flat.
• The best available faceting machine, the Fac-Ette GemMaster II, we ensure each facet is cut precisely to the specifications in the faceting diagram.  This provides the best possible flash and brilliance since all angles are cut to the exacting standards of the faceting diagram.
